Milan, Pisa (Italy)
Milan
Picture 1 taken down
this was initially a picture in the train on our way to Milan from Venice. But Mandy and SY insisted i take them down cos it was very early in the morning, we all just kinda woke up and we looked very cui.

2) We came across this Italian restaurant where to our surprise, it was managed and owned by Chinese, thus explaining the chinese tea we were served. The food was absolutely amazing.

2) An absolutely beautiful cathedral, both the exterior and interior

4) We took this outside the beautiful cathedral cos we stopped to ask the police for directions as to where the entrance of the church was. They were really nice and friendly and were happy to take a picture with us.

2) This girl was playing the piano in the middle of the square and she was really really unbelievably good.
Pisa

It was a beautiful day in Pisa and we took almost 2 hours finding our hostel. Pictures 1 & 2 were taken beside this railway track, looks really nice and all but we were so tired from being lost and having to drag/carry our luggages and bags.
3) Walking towards this supermarket Pam. We were really excited when we saw this cos it's one of the landmarks we had to look out for near our hostel.
4) 3 happy ladies when we finally found our accommodation, which was actually more a camping site with the rooms being inside caravans. How cool is that!

the first 2 people on the tower from the left are mandy and me

mandy and i were queueing up to climb up the tower and the other 3 were accompanying us. See what we do when we're feeling high and bored :)
3 & 4) Mandy and i on the tower, taken with SY's cam after dunno how many optical and digital zooms. Her camera is amazing i tell you.

the view from the top of the tower

cooking in our little caravan home for the night. More like Mandy, SY and nick cooking hurhur. Weiwei and i were in charge of taking pictures.
3) Our homemade candlelight dinner for 5 :)
Milan and Pisa were fun. I love love love the pictures we took in Pisa especially cos the weather was absolutely perfect - sunny and cool. It shows, doesn't it? Staying/cooking in the caravan also made the Pisa leg of the trip very memorable. But coming up next (Florence and Rome) are my absolute favourite parts of the trip. Til the next entry.....
